Simon Has been playing keys with UWP since 1997. Before UWP Simon was the touring keyboardist for the Freddy Jones Band as well as the Mighty Blue Kings with whom he has also recorded. He has also recorded and/or performed with many others groups around Chicago such as Hello Dave, Alice Peacock, Blues legend Sugar Blue, Jazz Guitarist Nick Collione, Nicholas Barron, Stevie Nicks, Edwin McCain and countless others.
Simon recently moved his Wife (Megan) and two kids (Aidan and Olivia) back to the small town of Urbana, Ohio. Yes he still gladly makes the 350 mile trip to Chicago almost every weekend to perform with UWP. Besides making glorious music, Simon enjoys working on his circa 1912 home, bicycling, hiking, spending time with his family. He is also a connoiseur of obscure candy bars (Mallow Cups or Boston Baked Beans anyone?) and is a talented woodworker.
