Liz and I got married on 11/11/06 at Germania Place. I know you perform all the time, so I do not expect you to remember everything. If it helps, it was the night Germania Place was about 90 degrees and I was the sweatiest groom ever.
Since our wedding, EVERYBODY has been asking about you guys. Most people already knew of your band, and could not believe we were actually lucky enough to have you perform. You truly made the night that much more special. In my speech, I mentioned we saw you play 5 years ago. Liz said that night you would be playing at our wedding whenever that might be. I can say again, the entire wedding was happy Liz kept that business card.

Oh my God! You guys (girl), simply put, made our wedding! Every time I was near the dance floor I had trouble getting on because of the crowd! We felt that you guys would do a great job when we booked you, but we had no idea you were that good in a wedding type of environment (you looked nice too by the way). While we were confident when we booked you, our parents were pushing us in the wedding “Orchestra” direction, and now they’re your biggest fans! The other day my Mom asked where they could go see you play. Anyway, we owe you a huge “Thank You!!!!!” You made our wedding the one that our friends are still talking about a month later, and three of them asked for your contact information, so you should be getting some calls if you haven’t already. Great job and thank you for being so accommodating with all of my “nervous bride” questions throughout the planning process! We’ll see you soon (maybe with my Mom J).

Dear Jacob and Underwater People,
I keep having delayed-reaction emotional meltdowns thinking about our wedding. It was such a moving day for Rachel and myself and I have shed many tears since the event thinking about all of the energy in the Cultural Center during the day and evening. Anyway, you guys were sensational! I had incredibly high expectations when I signed up Underwater People, but all of you were better than I ever could have imagined. Since our wedding day time has passed so quickly. We wanted to get a note to all of you for such a wonderful performance and added touch to our reception. I am sure every couple thinks that their day was perfect, but I have to say that ours was absolutely awesome! Your performance was the main reason. We’ve seen you perform in several Chicago area clubs, but you out did yourselves at our reception! We had people of all ages there and they all said that they have never been to a wedding reception that was as fun as ours, nor had they ever seen a band that was as talented and had the energy level of Underwater People. We couldn’t believe how crowded the dance floor was all night! We have some great pictures of you guys that we’ll send you soon.
